My complaint stems from aquiring Time Warners "All in One" program!

I signed up in the spring in which Time Warner sent "sub contractors" to my home to do the installation. The work was inferior with half of the installation being incomplete or not completed properly!

I immediately complained to their "customer service" to which a Time Warner repairman came to the house, informed us the work was inferior, then corrected the problem, or so we thought!

Within a month, our computer modem failed and then the DVR box followed. After a week the company sent another repairman to the house who then reinstalled new components again.

Then, we realized one of our phones was not working and found out that the original sub contractor had cut the line and never made the proper installation on that either. Still remains that way!

After enduring this dilemna, our DVR would continuously drop the programing to which we would have to call Time Warner to have them instruct us over the phone that worked, how to re program the DVR!

Now, for the forth time in six months the DVR failed again. This time a repairman with an attitude came to which I set him straight from the get go just where he stood. So he sabotages us by not programing the box. I called back to Time Warner to file a complaint regarding his abuse. The next day they send out a woman repair person who informs us everything was WRONG! She had to run the correct cable, put in a high definition box to match our high definition TV, program the DVR so as to work with our set-up and so on! It was a total joke!!! Where was she day one?

Here's the best to come! I go to pay my bill to which I have been paying all along through this non sense! The woman in the office greets me and I tell her the whole story. Then I inform her that Time Warner has never adjusted our bill accordingly for the interruption in service. This doesn't include 5 days of work I had to lose to be there for the repair person! Once is ok, 5 times is not ok! The customer service woman then goes hammering away on the calculator and after 15 minutes of wasting everyone's time, tells me I have a credit of $1.77 coming? I make over $50 an hour on construction!
I am appalled Time Warner has the audacity to tell me this. I would just like folks to know that this company sells what they can't provide! Their "roadrunner" is no faster than the high speed DSL I had with Frontier! In fact, it's probably the same line but these companies are working out some kind of "share" program so they all make money! Otherwise we would be tangled in wires!

They gave us to Atlantic Scientific Explorer 8300 DVR boxes to which my online sources tell me they are total junk! Then they gave us the "8000" series to which the "8300" had replaced. Now we have the "8300HD" box. Does theis say something about the quality of their products? Time for another DVR purveyor would be my guess!
