When I discovered my loss I called the San Bernardino CA office and was given the telephone number to the claims department in Los Angeles CA. Montigo Alford, San Bernardino Branch Manager, told me that I had up to one year from my move date to file a claim. I was never referred to the reverse side of my Bill of Lading and Agreement for Service under item #8 as stated in their Term and Conditions.
Montigo Alford should have referred me to #8 on the reverse side of my contract besides giving me the phone number of their claims department. When they sent the claim form, once again, I was never told in their letter of the time limit and regulations. Once the time is laspted they can easily say it was not their fault when the truth is they never did anything to keep me informed of any time limits.
