I noticed another complaint on Rip-Off about Alopecia Sphynx. I wish that everyone looking for a cat knew to BEWARE and stay AWAY from this breeder. I paid her $1800 for a kitten (including shipping) over two years ago. When I received the kitten she was so tiny and sick that she could fit in my husband's shirt pocket. I spent over A THOUSAND DOLLARS at the vet trying to get that kitten healthy. She has never gotten over her feline herpes and she is a pathetic excuse for a sphynx. She is tiny, unhealthy and even had OCULAR ULCERS. When I tried to call Elizabeth Gobel to talk about the kitten, she never returned my calls or emails after the kitten was shipping. Before I received the cat I spoke to her frequently... Down to the second that she received her balance then she cut me off forever. I even spoke to an attorney about her — she added the "no replacement, no refund, no exceptions" clause to her website days after I received my kitten. I lost energy and was too caught up in trying to save my cat to worry about fighting with sucha pathetic breeder.
PLEASE BUY YOUR CAT SOMEWHERE ELSE! There are MANY great sphynx breeders out there and SHE IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!!
