Attention hard working citizens. John Thompson is a low-life scumbag, in addition to being a registered sex-offender, who will take your money. A real piece of work. My wife and I contracted Mr. Thompson to locate 15 of our candy machines. On the phone, he sounded very professional, but the liquor on his breath gave him away in person. First of all, I noticed track marks on his arm, which gave me an initial feeling of uneasiness. If only I had listened... Against my better judgement, I decided to continue and allow him to place my machines. BIG MISTAKE!!! He went out that morning, slurring his words, I might add, and returned that evening with a stack of business cards. We paid him $375.00 and took the cards. When we went to deliver them, 9 out of the 15 locations said NOBODY had spoken to them and the 6 that did let us place them were 1-man garages. Needless to say we lost money, at first. The second time we went to service the 6 machines (as Mr. Thompson would not return out phone calls, we could not place the rest) 4 out of the 6 were missing. The employees of the locations said basically the same thing. That a fat, red-faced, alcohol-smelling man had told them that they were not doing well and he had to remove them. If you haven't figured it out for yourself, the fat drunk was Thompson. HE STOLE OUR MACHINES!!! After some checking, my wife learned that this was not the first time this had happened. Mr. Thompson's mug shot for a previous arrest for theft, and his sex offender picture and profile can be found online. This happened in 2002 and my wife and I STILL have not gotten our machines back. Please, protect yourself from this drug-abusing sexual predator. He is a dirty thief that deserves to nothing less than to be arrested and assaulted, both physically and sexually, in a federal prison.
