I paid $99 to start my case. $59 per month thereafter. I was promised they would get inaccuracies erased on my credit report. I paid for their services for many, many months.
They told me that they would keep sending letters to Transunion, Experian, and Equifax to dispute what creditors said about me owing money. Credit Attorney said that the credit bureau would send the creditor a letter demanding a response to allegation of an innaccurate report.
They said that they would continue this time after time until the company either gave up or forgot to respond within the allotted time. I received a letter from Transunion and Experian on the second attempt by credit atty to claim the amount owed was wrong. The bureaus informed me that it was fraudulent to continue this "dance." They said that they would no longer investigate the issue.
I contacted C.A. To cancel. They told me that the reason why I was not receiving any results was because the credit report that I sent them was old. They said that I needed to get new reports and everything would be fine. I told them that Transunion and Experian said that they would not continue to investigate. They replied by saying that they were a law firm and knew the rules.
Transunion and Experian are neutral in all of this so why would they lie to me?
I asked for a refund on the money that I had just paid (keep in mind that I paid $99 for the 1st month before I received any services.) Of course they said I get no refund because it was a set up fee. Aha. The client learns at the end of service that there is a set up fee.
