While checking my ATT bill on-line I noticed a billing increase and then saw a charge of $14.95 for IntergaTel... Called IntegraTel (800-736-7500) provided on the ATT bill and spoke to Rachell X 13053... She right away promised to cancell my so-called contract and refund the $14.95 to ATT but it might take a couple of billing cycles. Of course the rat had already been smelled so I asked what details they had on my account.
Not only did I never sign up they din't even have my correct name. All they had was an alias I use on one of my email addresses, so at least I know they obtained some info through Y*.
I then called ATT explained the situation and asked how easy it is to run phony charges through a company the size of ATT and even without a proper name. She explained all the "rip off" company must have is the phone number. She immeadiately credited my account and blocked IntraTel./.. Email discount from future billings.
Seems everyone on the net knows about these rip off artists but ATT doesn't? Go figure!
