Complaint / Review
MagicKids
Ripoff

I ordered an advertised packet of material from MagicKids, Inc., in which were directions for me as a "dealer" to follow in order to earm money. I was given a dealer account number to use for the purpose of checking on the profits I earned from orders my contacts sent in to MagicKids, Inc.

As a dealer, I was to be "a middle man", so to speak, between clients (children's clothing stores, individuals, etc.) and MagicKids.inc.included in the packet was my dealer account number for me to use for the purpose of periodically checking on my percentage of the profits, credited to my account when orders from my contacts were received by MagicKids, Inc. I kept up with all of my contacts with a number/letter code system that was part of the directions in the packet.

I made contacts by calling upon, phoning, and mailing material to potential customers, leaving my business cards, mailing follow-up letters, or making return visits. My potential customers would then order the children's clothing at a huge discount from MagicKids, Inc. The order blanks I gave my customers had my account number on them.

However, after doing all of that work, and using my personal account code number to check on my profits, I was always informed that there were no results in my account. After all the work I did, MagicKids, Inc. Had to have received some orders to credit to my account.

So after several months of following their directions, and receiving no results, as promised, I wrote a letter (dated July 25) to MagicKids, Inc. Asking for a refund for the packet I returned to them, via registered mail for which a company representative had to sign. A few weeks later, I received the signed receipt for the registered letter. I have not received a reply to my letter, or a refund for the cost of the packet.

Apparently, MagicKids, Inc. Is making 100% profit from the hard work of their dealers; and in addition, pocketing more money by refusing to send refunds to dealers when they discover what's going on!
