I purchased a new 20 mil. Liner from Leslie's and 1 week after they installed it, there were wrinkles in the liner. After arguing with the District Manger for sometime, they sent the installers back out and they came with a plunger and dove down several time attempting to pull the wrinkles out which they never did.
I finally just consoled myself that they were there to stay. Well, I noticed the shallow end had several rough places when you walked on the bottom and later, developed 3 wrinkles in the shallow end. This past summer, I started losing water to the tune of about 4 inches or more a day.
After about a month of having to add water and chemicals constantly, I finally discovered the hole. It was about a quarter size. We attempted to patch the hole and thought the problem was solved, however, we still kept losing about an inch or so daily.
After contacting the District Manager several times with no return to my phone call, I finally called the Regional Manager. He got the District Manager to send out someone to investigate a week later. The young man spent several hours investigating the pool and found 7 more holes in the liner.
Now, they are telling me that insects are eating thorough the liner!!! For Goodness sakes, everyone has insects. I am saying the liner is faulty and was cut too small as the seams do not fit against the wall. They are approximately 4 inches away from the wall in the shallow end where, by the way the major hole is.
