I subscribed to several magazines for a reduced price for the first year. They sent me a card after the first year to ask me to call if I wanted to cancel the magazines. I called and cancelled the magazines, and got a confirmation that the magazines would be cancelled.
When I got my credit card statement, I found that I had been billed for another year without my permission. I called them again and insisted that my magazines be cancelled. They said my credit card would be credited. I am now waiting for the credit to come through.
This company is clearly ripping people off by billing for subscriptions that have been cancelled.
