In approximately 5 years, I have owned 4 Littermaids. This is my 4th. I just bought it 3 months ago at Target, swearing it would be the last. I can't keep spending $100 a pop for these things. At this point, I think it would be worth it to spend that money to hire someone to clean my litterbox, or just buy a plastic tub and throw the darn thing out every week! It would come out to the same amt. Of money and less hassle. For no reason at all, they quit! This one after only 3 months! The 1st one, lasted over a year. The second one last JUST over a year — no warranty, haha on me. The third one lasted JUST over a year — again, no warranty, haha on me again. (What's that saying? Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me... I'm starting to feel ashamed). This one, well... You know the story. Now, I have to find the stupid receipt somewhere in this house, and follow their ridiculous instructions — chopping up the machine apparently to prove it doesn't work and I'm not trying to pull THEIR leg and get a new machine (however they can pull mine by selling this pathetically bad machine) — and spend another $10 for shipping and handling for THEM to ship me a new one, that's WARRANTIED!!! Some warranty! I keep paying, and paying, and paying. If this one fails, I will NEVER buy another Littermaid again. I've reported it to the BBB. I've had it!
