I recieved an ad in the mail for carpet cleaning, $6.55 per room. I had a cleaner show up and demand that i had burber carpeting (i do not have burber!) and that there will be an extra charge because different checicals are needed for that kind of carpeting. Then i got the whole sells pitch on degreasers, oder eliminaters, ect. I would not let go of the fact that i do not have burber nor do i have much extra money for the cleaning. He asked how much do i have, and i told him that it didn't matter all that i want is what the advertisement offered.
He was very frustrated. He said fine and asked me to vacume my carpet, i just did earlier that morning, but, he needed me to do it again. He went down my hall to pretreat stains. He came out and said that he has to call his office because he can not clean my carpeting for that amount. He went to his truck and was on a cell phone and smoking a cig. While he was on the phone i went to check out my hall and noticed that my bedroom door was open, i had it closed with a baby sleeping, it was clear that that room was not being cleaned, he had no business being in that room. (i have collecters coins missing! I noticed two days later!)
I woke up my 15 year old son and asked him to come out because i was now very uncomfortable with this guy. I checked to see what he was doing and he spun his tires in my gravel driveway and broke a glass in my bay window. (i filed a police report with local pd.)
I called the office immediatly and was told that i need to speak to the owner about the window but he is out of town. She apolagised and asked to send someone else out free of charge. Another cleaner came a few days later did a shotty job cleaning the carpet it was very wet and muddy looking and a week later i found out that they charged my credit card $170.46.
One month later still none of my calls have been returned. Today there telephones are disconected. Imagin that! Charges will be filed against them tomarrow.
