Shop. Lied too and ripped off

March 15th —Ordered a customized adult large Cubs jersey with #40 on the back for a birthday gift that was going to be given on April 6th

April 11— Wife called the CustomerSupport@MLBstore (888) 652-7467 and spoke with Heather. Heather stated the error on THEIR part that the jersey was customized incorrectly. A youth large instead of an aduly large. Heather would snd wife a return shipping label.in addition, Heather would e-mail wife a confirmation for the credit to the VISA card for the amount of $179.99

April 24th - Wife still waiting on the shipping label and confirmation of the credit to the VISA, wife called customer support 888-652-7467. This time wife spoke with Ray. Ray stated that he talked with his supervisor and would make sure a shipping label would be mailed out TODAY, by regular mail.

May 1st - Wife receieves shipping label and mails back the Cubs jersey.

May 15th - Wife gets the jersey back with no explanation to why

May 16th - She called Customer Support (again). This time, wife speaks with Amber who is another supervisor at the MLB shop. Amber states to wife that she would send another shipping label and also contact the warehouse for the reason why the jersey is being sent back PLUS a credit to the VISA.

May 30th - Wife still waiting for the return label from Amber, calls the MLB shop AGAIN (888) 652-7467. This time speaking to Destiny. Explaining the entire scenario to Destiny, she goes to speak to her supervisor named Jenna. Jenna tells wife she would send her a return label herself.

June 12th — Still not receiving the return label, wife calls shop AGAIN! Speaking to Ray (same Ray from April 24th) Ray states to Karen that he would fax Karen a return label and to send the label back OVERNIGHT delivery. Along with a credit to the VISA

July 6th - Still waiting for this return label, wife speaks to Ray. Ray speaks to another supervisor named Dave. Apparently the corporate office overruled customer service dept. Corporate called the warehouse and they inspect the jersey to find nothing wrong with the jersey. Wife stating that the jersey was customized incorrectly.instead of adult large, the shop customized a youth size 40. The 40 was the #40 for the back of the Cubs jersey not the size. That was the error by the shop.

July 7th — I called the shop at 888-652-7467 and talked with Susan. Stating the entire story, Susan stated that customized jersey sales are final. She said that she agrees with the error of their company but couldn't do anything to correct the mistake that was made because the jersey was customized. I stated that the jersey was customized incorrectly. Susan agree but could do nothing.

July 12th — Wrote a certified letter to [email protected] and also to the Better Business Bureau. Both residing in Louisville, KY

Also contacted VISA that they also wanted a copy of the letter faxed and mailed to VISA.

Letter to both MLB, Better Business Bureau, VISA and now posting on ripoffs.com, not sure what else cam be done.

Thanks for anyone that took your time to read this
