I bought Star Trek TNG season 1-7 DVD's on Ebay.
The seller had 200 positive feedbacks and 0 negative feedbacks.
The seller was slow to communicate, the product didn't ship from Ohio, the seller's location, but from China.
The product was not advertised as a Chinese version, but oh well, if it plays on my player, no big deal. I get it, the DVDs are stamped, not burned, that's a good sign. The DVD's play, sort of, but 2-5 times per episode, the thing skips 1-5 minutes of the show. This is not good. I try it in two other machines. Same defect. I contact the seller. No response. I phone the seller. No response. I contact Ebay. Canned response asking me to contact the seller or pay $30 for mediation services. What good are mediation services when the seller does not communicate.
My experience with Ebay is limited. This was my 3rd purchase. It was also my last purchase. If I cannot trust the feedback system on Ebay and they will not back it up financially, then the it isn't worth using Ebay. They are infested with scammers and do not know how to fix the problem.
