I got an ad out of the city paper for a puppy and emailed the woman. Her name was Holly Robert J— She emailed me back shortly after to tell me she had adopted out all her puppies but to get in touch with a friend.
Her friend was named reverend Collins Darwin and was from Alabama, and was on a missonary trip to nigeria and that he could keep the puppy that Holly had sold to him.
We corresponded over the next week over email. He asked me to send money via David F— at the address given above. I am new to this so I did, through Western Union. I got an email from both him and the shipping agent that said that there was custom charges that needed to be paid.
The reverend said all shipping would be included so we fought him on that matter. I got a call from the manager of the airport saying that the reverend paid 100 of the 200 dollars and that I just needed to pay the rest to get the dog. We refused and then I did some research because it started to sound shifty. I talked to the head of the Lagos airport and they had never heard of such a man or about the dog. I knew I had been scammed. I havent heard from him since.
