I received an email stating a female yorkie for free, 12 weeks old. I replied asking who it was and where they got my emal address. Being a Christian, I believed this person when they said that they were a Reverend, going to Africa on a missions trip. We corresponded. I asked for pictures. When I received them, I felt this was a serious email. When they told me how much it was, and where to send it, it concerned me.
For one, the grammar was awful. A Reverend would have good grammar. When we received the email with the address, it stuck out. I was told by a friend about these kinds of things. It happened to her. A gentleman asking for money for his sick son. When I saw it was in Nigeria, and saw the zip code. I allerted my husband, and we did a search on all of the information that we recieved, and fell upon another file that has been reported on the same person.
We did not send in the money, but my husband was going to after work. But something was not right, so I made him look. I'm glad that we did.
The name on the email address is going to be different on the address to send the money. Please catch and stop this person.
