Kasamba is allegedly supposed to vet it's experts it allows to work on the site. The truth is, this is not done at all. There are a lot of genuine experts on there, but it is hard to filter them for the rest, as Kasamba is rife with frauds. Anybody can sign up with false, or even no credentials, then have the freedom to take money from clients as they please. The site is intended for clients to pay for a service, but there are frauds on the site who will charge you for a service, even if they don't provide it, and actually have no intention of providing it.
Kasamba allows this to happen, as regardless to whether a service is provided or not, Kasamba get their cut, so therefore Kasamba are eager to hire fradulent experts as then they can take in part of the fraudulent money themselves.
If you try to contact customer services to complain, you would be lucky to get a response within a couple of weeks, and then when you do it is usually an automated response with no relation to your complaint.
Be VERY careful when you use the site, and do a bit of research on the expert before hiring them.
Ratings are not always a good way to so this, as Kasamba also fixes these, as some experts hire and rate each other, and then give them a 5 star rating overall, when genuine clients have given them a low rating. Also Kasamba highly edits a rating if you have been defrauded, to fool more people to hire the same expert to let Kasamba gain more money from it, so BEWARE!
