Never hire Monitronics. This disreputable company is the most dishonest, stupid, poorly run, collection of malicious, ignorant morons I've ever had the misfortune to be associated with. Monitronics values threats, lies, manipulation and deception over providing any acceptable level of customer service and refuses to honor its commitments to its customers.
After two years of faithfully paying this company, they refused to fulfill their contractual obligation to move my security system to my new home.instead of providing this service, WHICH I PAID FOR, they proceeded to insist on charging my family for this FREE move. When I refused, they tried to extend my service agreement, at which point they would then provide the FREE move I was already guaranteed. I refused. More lying and attempts at manipulation ensued from Monitronics, to try to save themselves for actually meeting their own obligations. Monitronics was informed that they would not be paid until they got in compliance with the contract.
To this date, more than one year later, Monitronics has only proceeded to threaten to ruin my credit rating with form letters and harrassing phone calls and has not yet once actually addressed their failure to comply with our contract, despite numerous letters, phone calls and even the assistance of the Better Business Bureau. They just don't care.instead of fulfilling their obligations, Monitronics would rather threaten their customers. These lying, duplicitous morons deserve nothing but contempt and their rightful failure in the marketplace. Their astoundingly poor customer service, management and sales techniques should be a beacon to all honest businesses on how NOT to treat their best, most reliable paying customers.
