There was a note on my desk that TP Supply had called and was offering close out deals on office supplies. All that was listed was a number and their company name. I am purchasing manager-so I thought what a great time to stock up.
I called the number and a man answered that was very fast talking. He told me his office was shutting down and trying to liquidate their office supplies. He asked what we used in our office. I told him.
When he was telling me the cost of these items at the time of our conversation the price seemed reasonable. Then, I received the bill. Over $7000 worth of office supplies. I felt duped. I was ashamed and so ashamed to tell my boss. However, I had to.
My office called TP Supply several times today trying to get an RMA #. I have faxed them a letter too requesting an RMA #.
Laurie returned our call and was extremely rude.
We have yet to receive an RMA #.
This invoice came directly to my desk and not to the accounting department. It did not slip through like I am sure TP Supply relies on for their scam.
All of the supplies are boxed and ready to be returned. We are waiting for TP Supply to respond with an RMA #.
I will never order from a company again I am not familier with. This episode has damaged my credibility.
I sincerely hope that TP Supply is out of business as soon as possible. Preying on businesses that pride themselves on their good name is a disgrace.
This is the first time I have been ripped off. I only thought this could happen to another person or company-
I would be smart enough to see through the lies. I was wrong.
TP Supply deserves to be punished by whatever means are appropriate. This is truly a scam and the employees running the scam are as guilty as the owners.
