I just received a notice from AT&T Universal Card from their customer service dept, PO Box 45218, Jacksonville, FL 32232-5218 stating that a recent review of my credit report has caused them to suspend my charge privileges. I have not used this card in over 3 years and now I get this letter from them. I also rec'd another letter which was very similar in the contents stating the same thing. I have not used these cards as I have no benefits from them. I shredded them up. The reporting agency that is giving information to all credit card companies is: Trans Union LLC, Consumer Relations Center, P O Box 1000, Chester, PA 19022 800-888-4213. When you call them, you cannot talk to a "Real" person, only to a computer voice!!! I went on line to all of the other reporting agencies-Equifax etc and had a report printed out for me. Everything shows {All payments ON TIME-Never late) I think the problem lies in Trans Union LLC as the instigator in all of our credit card problems. When I called AT&T their response was well-you haven't used us in a long time and also there is a red flag that Trans Union reported you have a delinquent credit obligation, either paid or unpaid with another creditor. I have tried to get to the bottom of this and have not yet received a response from anyone.
