WeAreWeddings.com Ripoff Marlene large amount of money charged for professional work that looked like it was done by an 8-year-old

I purchased DJ services and the creation of a photo montage from we are weddings. The DJ services were $1000 and the photo montage was $500.

We were allowed to choose 75 pictures and the order they were to be displayed. We also were to choose 3 songs to go with it. The video was to be displayed on a large screen at our wedding.

We did not get to view this video until the day of the wedding with the rest of our guests. The screen was set-up crooked. None of the pictures were centered. All of the heads were cut off on the screen. They did not use all 75 pictures and they did not put them in the order specified. The songs also did not flow how they were supposed to.

Marlene's, the owner's, response was that it was because the room was too crowed. They had plenty of room. My husband had to try and adjust the projector. The DJ who was supposed to be in charge of this, just stood by and watched. He made no attempt to solve this issue.

I felt the DJ was rude, he didn't start playing my requests until 10:30 at night and that was only after my photographer said something to him.

When I tried to explain all of this to Marlene and ask for reimbursement on the photo montage, instead of accepting that the job they did was bad she tried to compensate for it by telling us all the other "free" things she gave us.

Those "free" items were invitations. We only went with DJ services because she had a promotion going on that if you bought that service you got free invitations. No where did the promotion specify certain invitations or a certain amount. She now is saying that we spent above the allotted amount of money on the invitations, as if that makes the bad photo montage okay. She also claimed the DJ played longer the six contracted hours, also a lie.

In the time that we worked with this company they had changed locations 3 times, that should be an indication of what type of company they are. Unfortunatley for us, we had already signed a contract at this point and could not break it without losing our deposit. On an afterthough it would have been worth it!
