I ordered Direct TV DVR. After 5 months of wrong billing and huge charges, I cancelled them.
According to their website, if you sent back the DVR to them, the would waive the $300 early termination fee. When I called to cancel, they pretended to never hear about that until I read it word for word off their website. I sent the recievers back and was charged $40.00 for th S/H. Now I'm getting rude calls from them saying I still owe the $300 and that the fee is correct.in fact one women started screaming at me on the phone when I confirmed that I was the subscriber! I ended up hanging up on her.
AS for the rebate, they never got it. Blah. Blah. Blah..
What a bunch of losers. I have had dish network for 6 years and wish I had stayed with them. I got them now again and have never been treated like this.
I guess I will have to go the route of letters and BBB complaints.
