Vonage is a master at misrepresentation of a service. I contacted an order taker to sign up for their phone/Internet service. I had the order taker check to see if my home phone number was available so I could keep this number. She put me on hold and told me she would check. She came back to me with great news it was available. I said are you sure it is? She yes it is!
I received the router connected it and then tried a cell phone to call my number and it would go through? I contacted Vontage Customer Service which took 30 minutes on hold. Once I made it to a live person they said it is NOT available which in all honesty met I was lied to by the ordertake. After this and a route which stopped working after a few days they told me it would cost $109.00 to cancel my account.
Can you say RIP-OFF! Lied to in the beginning about my number being avaiable. They have my credit card info so I'm sure they will charge me one way of another. Thought about canceling this credit card!
