My husband and I are trying to rebuild our credit and after receiving tons of prequalification letters from First Premier we decided to give it a chance. Well we didnt even make if past the first statement period and requested the account closed. Even though I should have read all the disclosures, who really ever does. I was appauled to see a $7 fee for using the internet to pay the bill! Also, they dont update their website so that you dont know that your next charge is going to put you over the limit. I paid a payment before my statement period even ended and I was not over the limit at the time that they were printing my statement but, they still charged me an overlimit fee! This is outrageous and they need to be stopped. YOu have decent people who are trying to get their credit back on track and they are being made fools of. How can you get your credit back on track when after a $40 payment, you have no credit available to you because of the companies fees. They are charging a $6.00 participation fee, $3.00 maintenance fee, $7.00 payment fee, $3.95 internet access fee. This is totally ridiculous. You tell me what hard working person can pay down this card with these fees. They need to be hit with a class action suit and they need to be investigated!!!
