Sprint PCS came out with a program a few years ago stating that after you have been a customer for 18 months, you qualify for a "rebate" to purchase a new phone, since so many other services offer upgrade programs to their customers also.
I purchased a new phone, and submitted the form they provided with purchase along with my receipt for proof of purchase to the address they provided it be sent to in order to receive your rebate by mail. It was verified that the rebate center had received my information, however it was never received on my end.
I have been calling every few months for the past TWO years, stating AGAIN I still have yet to receive the check. All they tell me is they will stop payment on the previously issued check and resend the check to me. To please allow 15 business days to receive it.
At one point I corresponded via email so as to have a record of these conversations, and the excuse given on record was a mistaken address on my account. Which is not accurate as they have always had the correct address to send my bill to and when I call in I specifically verify that they have the correct address to send this check to.
So I am on my 6th attempt to get this check. This is fraud at this point, and I am going to be writing a letter to my state attorney general's office to complain about this company and their bait and switch with this rebate program. The checks just NEVER get to your home!
