I purchased a computer monitor from Office Depot's website back in September. The monitor came with a $100 mail in rebate from RebatesHQ. When I recieved the monitor I filled out the rebate form and sent it in the next day.
They claimed they did not receive the rebate until October 18th. Then two days later I received an email stating my rebate was invalid due to invalid purchase and postmark date. Even though the last day to purchase it was October 31st (which hadn't even gone by yet) and the last day to postmark it by was November 30th which was more than a month away!
So I called them up and they said they would correct it and update the status of the rebate. Which they did, so I waited about a month before calling again since the status hadn't changed. They said it could take from 14 days to 1 month to "verify" my rebate. So I called back when more than the month they told me had gone by.
They gave me the same story and the phone call went no where. So here I am two months later and still haven't recieved my check or even verification that they will send me a check! DO NOT USE THIS REBATE COMPANY. They scam you and most people never receive their rebate. This company has so many complaints going back for years now. Stay away from rebateshq.com.
