My boyfriend was incarcerated in february in new jersey. The calls were $5.00 per minute from the Evercom. I incurred a bill of 150. He was then re-incarcerated in april of this month and now the calls are $5.00 to connect and 89 cents per minute. Evercom took money from me that I didnt owe to them. My bill was 150 and they took an extra hundred dollars from me. I pay tha bill with my credit card and they took my money.
They also had the nerve to block my line after I paid them and failed to tell me that there was a limit on the amount of money you can talk up for the first 24hrs. They were very rude to me and left me on hold for hours. Something needs to be done about this.
