I'm sure a lot of people have gone through this or a similar event. I was getting wrongly billed for late charges from Sprint and called to have it corrected. I also emailed to have someone contact me about it. Sprints policy is to get back to you in 3 days. Well no one contacted me, so I called up and cancelled my long distance and 800 numbers (one 800 number I had been trying to cancel for over a year because I never used it and just got wrong numbers on, but Sprint would not cancel it). The Sprint Rep told me that all my numbers were cancelled. Wrong! They kept billing me. I had to call again and they assured me everything was cancelled and I would not get another billing. Wrong! They have my email and my recorded phone conversations, so they know exactly when I cancelled.
A Couple of years ago they agreed to pay me an out of court settlement because of their incompetence and foolishly I agreed to stay with them "if" they didn't screw me again. Well guess what, they screwed me again.
I'm am just furious at how they have treated me and probably hundreds of other of their "customers". They figure they can just keep billing and people can't do anything about it. Well, they are right to a point. Most people won't take the time and energy to pursue it, so Sprint makes thousands of dollars extra each month on illegal charges.
But I'm taking the time to ask for your help. Please call Sprint and tell them to stop screwing people. I know it will take time to do it, so thanks in advance. If everyone called them or emailed them, it would be way more powerful than going after them in court.
