Purchased 2 Westies from Brushy Creek aka David Moore.
Referred 2 friends who also purchased 1 dog each from David Moore. We were told that one of our dogs was born in Ireland and that it could take up to 32 weeks to register the dog with the IKC. It has been over 40 weeks. We emailed the IKC and they told us it should take 2 - 3 weeks to register a litter! This dog was $1800 not including shipping. The other dog was reported to be born in Texas. Why the delay on this registration? They just say that they are "behind on the paperwork." 40 weeks behind? Here is what to expect — the best dogs in the world, David is out of the country, we are behind in our paperwork, and then ultimately - no response. I guess they hope that we will just give up. We tried to estimate when the American born Westie was born and called the AKC to see if a litter was registered - nope. A rip off! Nobody has gotten their papers and we all paid top dollar. I am in the process of filing complaints with the AKC, IKC etc..
