I was balancing my check book with my bank account records and found a $19.95 charge that I had not made. I called my bank to dispute the charge. I found this website and found that others have had this same experience from this company called Shopping Essential. Thanks to you whom filed about this company I had the complete phone number and called to cancel and they had on the recording that you can cancel your monthly fees by pressing the #1 on your phone and you will get to continue your "So-Called" benefits for 1 yr for "ONLY $19.95" (which is what I was charged without my consent) they gave your another option to learn more about your benefits by pressing #2. I finally pressed the #0 and spoke to someone to cancel my order and I let them know that this charge will be disputed as I did not authorize this charge she did not even acknowledge what I had said and said that she cancelled my membership and I again let her know this will not be paid! I do not know for sure how they received my Credit Card # but this is VERY scary!!! Thank you to all of you whom have filed about this company you really helped me out!:)
