After completing the required stack of rebate info and docs - while waiting 6 mos to send the completed forms in a very narrow window, we were then told (via email) our forms were filled erroneously and incomplete.
Feb 3 - an afternoon on the phone with a inPhonics rep concluded that we did fill out the forms accurately and our order was eventually processed.
However,
Apparently it is up to the provider as to when the rebate will be processed and returned to inPhonics and then it's another 8 -12 weeks for them to issue the rebate!!!
We'll be on to new phones by then!!!
There was no indication of this "routine" in either the documents nor their website.
This is an unbelievable and egregious abuse of Joe-consumer and those impacted should start a class-action suit against all concerned.
