Ripoff deceptive practice

We went to the recruiting program at the Buffalo-area location. We had heard non-stop radio ads about it. It SOUNDED like a good deal during the program. We signed up - despite our serious misgivings. But they used the same line everyone else on here talks about - "If you don't sign up today, you can NEVER sign up!"

When we got home, we thought about it. They had showed us a picture of a fridge that they said was $2,000 at retail stores, but only $1,100 with Direct Buy. I looked up on the internet the fridge they had showed us - it sells at MSRP for about $1,100! They outright lied!

The sales guy also told us they have a store in Alexandria VA, because we told him our son and daughter-in-law lived there and we were interested in buying them new kitchen appliances. I checked it out when I got home - there is no store in Alexandria!

Our son is a lawyer. When he called the store manager to discuss the situation with him, the manager hung up the phone on him when he found out our son is a lawyer.By the time he is done with them, this company will regret that we ever walked into their store.

If anyone else in Buffalo has fallen victim to Direct Buy Buffalo, please post here and let me know if you are interested in trying to join our legal efforts to get our money back.

If anyone else is considering, please be very careful of these scam artists. They are nothing but unprofessional and deceptive.
