With the booming real estate market nationwide the call for Traveling Notaries is growing. There are lots of signing companies out there and this is a miserable example of the industry. Unfortunately, their hook is higher fees than most Notaries are offered, so the average Notary will jump for them to cash in on the higher fees. BUT BEWARE! If it looks to good to be true, it probably is too good to be true! These folks are a pure and simple RIP OFF! They have a great system though, first request a service, offer larger than average fee and never pay the service provider. (You have to wonder if they forward the Documents?) Outstanding business when your only overhead is a mailing address, a phone and an internet connection. What is terrible is that the mortgage lenders and title companies continue to refer to them! SO beware, if the fee offered is higher than the "norm" I would investigate the company further and if ACME NOTARY SERVICE or any of the owners are involved, be prepared to work for free!
