I recently decided to order my wedding tuxedos online since I live abroad and would be getting married in another country. I found the only online tux rental place out there and I wish I hadn't. I live in Germany, planned to get married in Cancun and was going to have the tux's sent to California. Everything was fine until Hurrican Wilma hit and cancelled the wedding two weeks prior to the date. "Not so Awesome Tuxedo" said they understood and would refund the $800 I paid for the tuxes and would not send them out. I kept in touch with them week in and week out and they said they were looking for the charges and once they found them they would be working in the refund. Finally about 1.5 months after the cancellation they said they found the charges but would be charging me a 15% restocking fee for the cancellation. I am very sure that it is hard to hang up the tuxes that didn't go out so 15% sounds good to them but I was not happy. I asked very nicely that the fee be waived due to my extenuating circumstances and they said they would check on it. Another month went by of me emailing and I started to get fewer emails back. They continued to give me the run-around, dodging my calls, ignoring my emails and finally told me to take up the claim with my credit card company. This company and the owner is shady, slimy and deserves to lose all online business due to their stealing of my money.
