After the death of my mother and my father having a heart attack at the same time, I hired Jeff Henzler (the owner) of Appearance Plus, to do handyman work.
I signed a contract with this man and paid him half the money to start work. I bought all supplies just like the contract said. The he started giving me a hard time by not working or doing his job until he had more money.
I finished paying him the job in full per our contract, when he demaned I pay him even more money. When I told him no I already paid him in full, he stopped work which was only 25% completed. He stole my keys and garage door opener. Then he continued to call and threaten myself, my child and my elderly father and his property.
Jeff Henzler refuses to honor his contract. And he will not refund my money. He laughs and says just try and sue me.
I have lost a couple of thousand in money to do the work. The replacement costs of keys and garage door opener. Plus I lost revenue costs, electric and gas bill. Not to mention now the cost to rehire and pay for a new handyman.
I have pictures, the original contract and witnesses to prove my case.
