Prepaid Legal is all hype and they do not tell you the whole story "before" you join. My first briefing was nothing more than hype to build me up to believing I could make a lot of money in a very short time. What crock that was.
I talked to everyone I could think of and no one wanted their plans. I didn't sell one plan and made zero money on this scam of a business. I was not told I would have to attend weekly meetings and pay $5.00 per meeting, that was conveniently left out.
My so called "Fast Start" training was "cancelled" the night before and after I drove 45 minutes one way to get there at 8 am on a Saturday morning on my day off, I was told by the hotel clerk there was no meeting scheduled, it had been cancelled.
Now that I quit the business and cancelled my membership (which wasn't worth the money I paid for it), my sponsor isn't even speaking to me now.
All I can say is, this was yet another waste of my time thinking I had found a business that was real and honest.
Prepaid Legal is a farce and anyone who has dealt with, or thinking of joining, you will be broke in no time if you pay good money for their motivational and useless nonsense. As for the single mom, I feel for you, your child is way more important than attending a meeting that some bigshot will get your $5.00 for and you go home with lies.
