I was deceived by FreeCreditReport.com. They charged my credit card $19.95 for what I thought was 3 free credit reports. I thought all I had to do was cancel a trial membership within a month after receiving the reports.
A charge for $19.95 showed up on my credit card three days after I received my "allegedly free" credit reports. I called them to complain about the charge and request a refund but they refused.
I wonder how these types of businesses stay in business. If they were local, I'd be outside their door with a picket sign!
How can you trust a credit monitoring company that does deceptive billing!?
