I have lived in Williamson County, Texas — the east portion of the county since 1991. My father lived there for many years and he was the Democratic party neighborhood chairperson until his death.
Politics may also be involved since my father was a Democrat in a hugely Republican county.
Since Dad's death, we have been victims of harrassment and intimidation from someone who wants to take away this property my father left to me and I am sure that they —and their colleagues, a certain family who lives near us on land they bought from my late father and have been promised our land by these same folks for pennies on the dollar IF they can get rid of us — were the ones who called Williamson County Animal Control to come and take my beloved pets who are now at the Leander Animal Shelter aka Williamson County Humane Society / Shelter. And they will not let me have them back!
this incident occurred 22 nov. We were gone from our house doing MONDAY CHORES.
This has been an ongoing problem since my father died. Not only that, this is possibly more retaliation for me having testified against a relative at her attempted capital murder by solicitation trail. (I was on the "hit list") All of which— except this most recent incident of retaliation — has been dutifully reported to the Williamson County Sheriff's Department. Because of these people, we never know what sort of H*L, we will be returning to whenever we leave our home for whatever reason!
The Sheriff's department has been called every time an incursion has taken place BUT IT WAS NEVER INVESTIGATED AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO STOP IT. IT HAS BEEN OVER 10 YEARS and it is STILL going on virtually NONSTOP!
Persons who live on the east side of the county are perceived to be powerless, of lower socioeconomic status, functionally illiterate, minorities and they are doing their best to try and gentrify our end of the county and its many family farms out of existence. It wold be a great place to come and steal people's pets and sell them for LABRATORY AND VIVISECTION EXPERIMENTS and a LOT of peoples' pets around here DO go missing and nobody has a clue of what happened to them...
NOT UNTIL NOW, that is.
A local hate group took offense at the Channukiah we had burning in our window for the Jewish Holiday of Hannukah and they kicked in our front door, took out all of our furniture and burned it in the yard and destroyed all of our appliances. We repaired what we were able to repair but since we were working at extremely low-paying, service-oriented jobs, we could not afford to replace all of our furniture.
They also destroyed our riding lawn mower so we could not mow the grass and they came in the house and took our trash and dumped it around the county so we would receive heavy fines from the county for violating the "illegal dumping ordinances." They have put holes in out floors and EMPTIED FERTILIZER and assorted FECES inside of our house! They also TORE DOWN OUR BACK YARD FENCE WHERE WE WERE KEEPING OUR PETS SO THEY WOULD BE IN VIOLATION OF THE LEASH LAW and we hopefully would be ticketed out of existence.
During the course of all of this HARRASSMENT, members of my family were shot at in broad daylight by two sons of the family who was promised our land (They shot at me too while I was calling the sheriff's department); and a small group of them and their friends came through our woods and tried to shoot at me one night (they did slightly wound one of my dogs); on or near my birthday in someone came to our front door and shot at me; someone cut three of our dogs' throats and shot out our windows and shot into our roof with a large calibre rifle or carbine in such a way that the roof has now collapsed in places. I caught a young man in our garage who pointed what looked like a. 22 revolver at me and pulled the trigger but it misfired and then he ran away. He later came back and tried to shoot at a friend who was living in the house from the woods behind our house.
In all fairness, the Sheriff's Department DID come out on the first shooting complaint and THEY were shot at too but all they did was just tell the neighbors "not to shoot at these folks' house anymore."
We have no where else to go or i would leave here!
WE ARE NOT DRUG DEALERS. WE WORK FOR A LIVING! Since the local high-tech economy went into a Depression here, the pay rate has plummeted to almost nothing. We cannot even begin to afford to repair all of the damage that has been done.
There are also several ex-convicts who live nearby.
I AM DISABLED AND WE ONLY HAVE ONE VEHICLE. Because they broke in and made hundreds of dollars of unauthorized phone calls, we have NO phone at our residence —not even a 911 call. They also knocked down our electric power pole and smashed our breaker box so we haven't had any electricity either. Since about 2003 or so...
We have bee hit with so much, so fast that we can't begin to replace it all.
The County Animal control received a "complaint" about my dogs WHO WERE IN MY HOUSE THE ENTIRE TIME! The puppies did not even have their eyes open!
Because my Boxer and German-Shepherd mixes have Black and tan markings, they resembled Rottweilers. Some idiots around here have been inbreeding Rottweilers to make them meaner and setting them loose to kill and maim people.
My dogs were NOT taken because they were being neglected or abused. They were taken as the result of a false report being made to law enforcement authorities, a crime in itself! Entering my house without my permission is called BURGLARY OF A HABITATION and it is a FELONY! I don't think the Animal Control Officer went in.
When my pets went missing, I was TERRIFIED because it is widely rumored that the family across the road has something to do with pit bull fighting and I was worried that they had become bait for the pit bulls. Our pets are our children. We love them and we miss them.
We have indeed been plagued with some WILD DOGS AT MY HOUSE, NONE of which are mine, and they come and they eat our dogs' food! I wish someone could catch THEM! All of my dogs had collars on but I think the chief suspect removed the tags and collars in order to make more hell for us.
We had gone to get our mail (they set our rural mailbox on fire and destroyed two replacements), buy a newspaper then go the Feed Store to get some dog food and when we came back, they were gone and Animal Control did not leave a note or any indication of where they had been taken and who had taken them! Not only that, someone had turned on all of our water in the house and it was running up a huge bill! (Prior to this, someone had wrapped a chain around our PVC water pipes under the house and pulled on it until they broke. We can't afford to fix them even if we could get a plumber to come out where we are.
When an animal is removed from an address, the animal control officers usually leave you a note advising that they have your animals and for you to please come and get them.in this case, they did not! We had no idea.
We do not have a lot of money but we DO provide for our pets!
The only reason we found out what happened is that an animal control offcer (not the one who took the dogs) HAPPENED to be in the neighborhood and asked about our pets. I IMMEDIATELY e-mailed the "Shelter" as SOON as I could get to a computer and I was told that I HAD NOT CONTACTED THEM SOON ENOUGH AND I COULD NEVER RECOVER THEM.
They will not tell me if my dogs were euthanized or not.
I HOPE THEY WERE NOT SOLD OFF FOR MEDICAL EXPERIMENTS OR MURDERED AND PUT INTO PET FOOD! Or butchered for Red Chinese, Filipino or other folks who eat dog meat!
They keep RAISING OUR TAXES and I don't know what sort of services we are receiving for them! THIS IS A RIP-OFF in itself and I think that it is also a VIOLATION of the 14th AMMENDMENT of the US Constitution as well as the FIFTH and FOURTH AMMENDMENTS!
