My wife ordered me a subscription to both Rider and American Rider magazines as a gift. After the
first few issues of Rider, I decided I did not want to
continue with that publication. When the billing statement showed, my wife paid $23.97 to cover the cost of the magazines we had received and wrote "Cancel" on the invoice. We have continued getting the magazine and
bills from the billing service on which we have written "Cancel". Finally she called Publications Unlimited and was told she could not cancel the magazine
until she paid an additional $23.97 and then if she cancelled she would get a partial rebate. She tried to explain that she had already paid for more magazines than we recieved, but the reply was the same. I contacted Rider Magazine and they told me that since the magazine was ordered through another party, they could not cancel the contract but would make sure that we received no more magazines. Further calls to the 800 number results in no response.
