Ripoff-has not paid for damages or repairs sustained during move

Paul Arpin Van Lines moved my furniture from NJ to NC in August. There was extensive damage done to my belongings including almost all my antiques, some of which are now unsable.

I paid extra for full coverage insurance and filed a claim, which was signed for by a representative of Movers Settlement Group, Ltd. On August 28. Jeff Johnson Restoration & Designs sent photographs proving my claim on October 8.

In spite of weekly phone calls, my furniture has not been fixed and my claim has not been settled. According to supervisor, Rosemary Ennis my claim is on the director, Ed Shay's, desk for review. Apparently, he plans to keep it there forever, because none of my phone calls have been returned and nothing has been resolved as of November 28.

I think it is a great injustice that I should have to pay a lawyer to sue this company in order to be compensated for damage that should not have occured in the first place, and if it did should have been covered by the insurance immediately and without question.
