Allied Interstate, I found out they had me on auto dialer from phone number 480-733-3220, meaning they called here from 8 am til 9pm, 7 days a week every few hours. This continued for almost 3 weeks. I would call them back on the number mentioned and there was a password requirement.
I could not figure out until I received a letter from them and then I realized they were trying to collect Sprint unpaid bill. I even had forgotten about that deal because I had purchased their trial services 5 years back. I had disputed the charges that time and wrote Sprint a letter without a response from them.
I presumed charged were written off, rightly so. Otherwise I should have received a courtesy professional letter from such a big company. I had argued about this bill because I was assured at the service location that I would try the services at my house where reception was questionable because I had tried other providers too. Selling agent assured me there going to be no charges, no obligation for trying Sprint services.
I tried and didn't work and I returned the phones & services same day or a day after, I dont' remember now. I tried other providers in my area and none of them sent me even a bill. All of the other vendors stood behind their committment but Sprint and now after a lapse of 5 years they handed over to Allied Interstate for collection. Allied rep suggested me to call Sprint Collection department and after trying 2-3 hours desperately I failed to find a live SPRINT rep to discuss the matter. Finally after several calls to Allied and speaking to different reps each I have no choice but to decide to pay because I have been threatened by Allied to put a ding on credit report.
I am honest consumer and have never been a defaulter on my payments. Allied reps told me I would continue to receive calls until I pay the bill because it's system generated. It's very annoying and frustrating. The amount was not a problem but it was matter of pricipal. I still expect that since I am paying under protest because it's unfair, they should return my money back. Sprint has tortured me and my family via Allied Interest and they won't be able to reimburse that.
