Of course, Lean Life keeps their standard rebuttal that no one buying the product can read. How ironic that we are all WRITING/TYPING these complaints... I digress.
I READ (yes, I know... Some of us can read) the fine print, and I called 8 times within the specified "trial period" to "cancel" (per the fine print) my subscription with Lean Life PM. Each time I called, I was requested, by a machine, to leave my information. I did so, 8 times. I also followed each call with an e-mail requesting my cancellation. However, if appears that perhaps, the people at Lean Life PM can't read. I was charged the the $99 anyway. Since then, I have called an additional 10-15 times only to hear the same recorded message asking for me to leave a brief message.
Today was a good day. After over 20 phone calls and e-mails, I actually spoke to a person. Unfortunately, my account was never cancelled. "E-mails go to a corporate office, and they don't cancel things. Cancellations can only be taken in the call center" Hmmmm, that sounds quite different than what I READ in the fine print. All I needed to do was request a cancellation via e-mail...??? Again, I am actually concerned that the employees at Lean Life PM (and CEO) have serious reading/learning disabilities.
I was informed today, that my product (the one I never cancelled) had already shipped. It shipped on October 27th. I haven't received it, of course, but when I do, I will need to resend it with a tracking # (which requires me to pay the shipping) back to Lean Life PM. Upon their receipt of the product, I can then request a credit. The good news is... They have cancelled my account. Of course, they have effectively stolen my money. My only hope is that everyone on earth reads these reports and avoids this company and the impaired people that work for it.
