A charge appeared on my phone bill from OAN Services for a "collect call" received from a number and city I have never heard of before.in fact, on the day we were supposed to have received the call, we were away from home.
When I contested the charge from my phone company, they told me I had to contact the service and contest the charge with them. I attempted to call them on the number listed on the bill, but was placed on hold for several minutes listening to the recorded music. A pre-recorded message came on periodically to say that "customer service representatives are busy helping other customers, stay on the line or you will only delay the response".
This is obviously a scam and the phone company needs to be more proactive in accepting charges from other companies when they are obviously involved in some type of scam.
