This is my 3rd or 4th Ripoff report. I have been dealing with Stainsafe for almost 2 years on several claims that they are not honoring. I was told there was actually a check sent to me and would arrive no later than February 9. Well it is October 12th and nothing.
I have called several times to no avail. I am completely frustrated! They have some excuse that my check is on a spreadsheet and has been since last October. They cannot send me my check until there are enough other checks on the spreadsheet to cut the checks.
I asked about the promise of getting it no later than February 9th. A ridiculous rep said there was nothing he could do about it, every supervisor I spoke with said they are as high up the chain as I can go and anyway it is not in their hands it is up to the accounting department. I ask for them to transfer me to accounting and they state that accounting does not take phone calls.
I asked them to escalate this so someone could address my issue, I was told there is no way to escalate. "It is what it is and I will get my check when I get my check." I was furious!!! Not to mention all the other claims they are neglecting of mine.
They owe me a complete sofa replacement, this is even after I got stabbed with a huge spring popping out of my couch because the tech they sent out just cut it the first time it popped out instead of really fixing it.
They owe me a replacement on a nightstand, that they tried to deny after a claim had already been approved and in place for over 6 moths. They kept telling me on the phone it was a side table, when I corrected the name of the item to nightstand I got a denial letter because the name changed they said I waited too long to report the problem. WHAT?
I have threatened Media, Attorneys, Lawsuits, They all must be trained to have no fear, THEY LAUGH!
I think everyone should get together and go after these people! They had no problem taking our money for the warranty and then in addition to that we all paid a lot of money for our furniture which is the reason we bought a warranty in the first place! I believe they owe us Punitive damages for being a fraud and causing us such emotional frustration.
Don't sit back and just let another one of these companies get away with it! The cost of living isn't going down and I can't even afford to replace the piece of junk furniture at this time, I have a baby on the way, and dealing with this aggrevation had caused me so much stress! My warranty ends this December, I think they are going to try and screw me!
I have called in between work, cooking, cleaning and enough is enough! My furniture store had already stopped doing business with them and that doesn't seem to phase them! We need to contact all stores doing business with them. We need to each contact the attorney general and each of us need to continue the reprts until they pay us for our furniture, warranty cost, and aggravation!
