Take a look at https://www.restorationhair.com. It full of hopes, promises, money back gurantees, and testimonies. It looked appealing, almost too good to be true. Last year I was concerned about my hair loss and decided to try this appx $65 shampoo and a bottle of strange oil fragrance. I ordered it by credit card and I was amazed how fast it arrived to my house.
I anxiously used this shampoo in the morning and applied this greasy oily fragance on my head before I go to bed but it caused some kind of rash. After one month, I looked at the mirror and didn't see any signs of improvement. I decided to cancel it and wanted my money back. I sent an e-mail and recived an automated "thank you" reply. I was like, "Hmm. What about my money?" I called this company by phone but the operator said this number doesn't exist. I sent several e-mails and never heard from them again. It's like they don't exist!
I've filed reports to the B.B.B. And F.T.C. I recieved only automated mails from them. They weren't really helpful.
I checked my bank statements and this company took my money twice! I had to cancel my credit card which was a pain in the butt. (This is exactly like A.O.L. That took my money even after I canceled it months ago.) Don't fall for their "100% money back qurantee" thing. It's a scam. I hope the FDA will track them down and burn their products.
