Everything the above person complained about is true. Modern Moms did advertise that if you joined you would receive a valuable mother's day gift valued at over 200 dollars. Their company has done nothing but lie and scam hundreds of women who were encouraged to join based on all the great gifts. Modern moms has only tried to cover their tracks once word got out that they were scamming everyone.
In fact they encouraged continued enrollment despite knowing they would never send the mother's day gift basket or any others for that matter.
They even bragged about a father's day package which turned out to be expired muscle cream, a lotion sample (also expired) and a tube of car wipes.
Numerous complaints have been filed with the BBB and calls and emails have gone unanswered by this company. They should be ashamed and horrified at their business practice.
I'm flabbergasted that they continue to try and lie when their own words come back to haunt them.
Horrible customer service and a horrible company.
