Ripoff sells phones with outdated software! Portland, Oregon

I purchased a camera phone from Verizon in August. Had problems with it from the beginning-as far as certain features not working how they were supposed to. Finally after about a week, everything seemed to be working ok and I was able to send and receive text/pix/flix messages&exactly the reason I bought this phone in the first place.

Well, last week, I called Verizon to have them change the number of rings before my phone goes to voice mail&guess what? Since that point, my phone will not send or receive any pictures or videos.

Here is one better! The tech at Verizon tells me that my phone was sent out WITHOUT a software upgrade that may prevent it from fully functioning in the network! WTH??? How can a company get away with sending something out like that when they know that in a month or two, it will not work with all of their system upgrades? Not to mention, not even bothering to notify the customers who purchased the phone!!! AND, the technician can't even tell me that's what the problem truly is&he's only guessing.

So, because VERIZON sent me an out-of-date phone, I now have to take my time, and use my gasoline to go out of my way to a store miles from my house and have my software upgraded... I have been to this store before&and I am not looking forward to it&the salespeople there are a joke&they have EVERYTHING better to do when they realize you are not a potential $ sign, but rather a current customer who needs some free help with their cell phone service... Free=no commission...

I am so fed up with them... If I wasn't under contract, I would be GONE!!!
