I have just read the same story over and over. Here's my edition. I own a small specialized contracting firm, 10 employees.
Same scam every time:
The first sales scammer just walks in and wants to ask a few questions. Well of course he just happens to have an analyst in the area because someone else cancelled so lucky me will only have to pay $300.00 for what would normally be a $750.00 survey analasys. Didn't sound so bad.
Second sales scammer is at my office door waiting for me at 7:00 AM the next morning. He spend a lot of time in Quickbooks to "analyze our cash flow" but what he's really doing is figuring out how much they can steal from you.
By the end of the day he's convincing me "without our consulting you're out of business" and he just will not listen to anything I say. His job is get the next crew in for the big fees. Sometime desparate people do stupid things and that's what this company banks on. Thats probably why you're here too.
Next day - Two shmucks show up and get paid big money to raid my refrigerator, and sit around printing useless junk off their lap-tops, stupid little posters like "Profit is Fundemental". Again the obsession with my Quickbooks file.
I don't even think they knew what we did for work. The best advice they could give me was that I may not really need a toll free 800 phone line. WOW glad I had $8,000.00 to spare to get that straitened out.
Also if any one has to deal with Chris Moniz from their office don't bother, she's a worthless deadbeat too. If anyone hears of any legal recourse please let me know.
