In july I could not pay the hole bill of $361. So I paid $200 owing $161 i figured i would catch it up in Aug. Thinking the bill would be lower due to summer got a shut notice for that $161. Aug (expected) my bill for aug was not lower it was higher not counting the late payment i got that paid, but it took my bank to send the payment a week the elec.- man came to shut the power off because they did not get payment I told him I can get the conformation # if he could just wait a few min-for me to get on the computer to write it down, he would not wait for any thing so the power got shut off we called the power comp that same day. They said in order to get it turned back on we had to pay $161 $100. For deposit and $30. For hook up I gave them the conformation number they said they had no record of it, the following day we called back they confirmed that $200 was paid but we still had to pay $665. I asked what happened to $130 they admitted they made a mistake that the deposit was suppose to be 2 months previous billing and because of the mistake and because there is a young child in the house we would have to pay $130 and they would put the remainder deposit on two monthly payment. And then the $161. Will be on a payment plain of $16. So far paid $200 before it was shut off $145 for some of the deposit to get the power back on that is total $345 so far to the deposit and still got to pay $320 more for deposit. BUT ya know this does not bother me to much so long as I get that deposit back, and it was my bank that look a week to send the payment. WHAT does bother me is this below THE REAL RIP OFF. My last two months billings should not have added up to $665... So i looked into it.

As a rule every ones electric bill is lower during the summer time, mine is usually no higher then $125.00 & as low as $79.00 That is normal for this house, Even the owner says so, But this year the lowest new charges was $224.55 & the highest $251.00 BIG JUMP THERE, I could not figure out why it was so high for this time of year, those prices was close to the winter time billings, I new the bill should be even lower then last year due to the dryer stopped working, The owner did say one year the water heater caused a $400 bill. SHE REPLACED THAT and every thing was fine after words, so I had the water heater checked again, it was fine. I had all the other appliances checked fine also. DON'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, So I went back and checked the online billing and looked and looked at it comparing each month, REALIZING there was something wrong I found out that PACIFIC POWER/CORP was GUESSING on my billing during the whole summer they have not been checking the meter at all THEY STATE.

WELL there is only one lilac bush and if they were checking the meter all they had to do was step a few feet to the right and they would have gotten an actual reading But no they can't do that they can come on your property to shut the power off but not to get a actual reading. As of AUG 15TH The bush is cut down and the bill is the same for septembers payment, Still guessing, The METER READERS is not doing there job..
I feel sorry for the folks that has a wood fence or a tree because they are never going to get an actual reading unless they remove that fence or cut down that tree, PACIFIC POWER/CORP is going to keep GUESSING with them. I don't know about you folks but I think for (97624 AREA) Probably a lot more areas that the current meter readers that are not doing there JOB needs to be FIRED & every ones meter needs to be read properly and those that have been victims of the over charge needs to be REIMBURSE or CREDITED.

APRIL $227.00 about $50 TO HIGH usually $175 or lower
MAY $224.00 about $75 to high usually $150 or lower
JUNE $251.00 about $90 to high usually $150 or lower
JULY $236.00 about $130 to high usually $100 or lower
AUG $228.00 about $140 to high usually $98 or lower (Perty HIGH for JULY usage, hot weather)
TOTAL about to high from last year $485.00 THE ELEC COMP - IS GETTING EXTRA.
