This is My Story of being Ripped off and lied too by Vendstar.
Well I had A few thousand dollars saved up, so I was thinking I could invest this money in a good vending business. Well I seen a ad for vendstar so I went the their website and filled out the contact info. Within a FEW HOURS I received a phone from Scott Doumas, one of the questions that I ask Scott was who will locate the Machines for me? He said the great Locating Company named Vending Dreams would do it.
After talking to Scott I received a DVD package telling of success stories of using the Vendstar system the very next day. After hearing success story after story of people making a $1000 or more a month I was almost ready to order. The next day, Wednesday I called Vending Dreams to talk them about locating, I was told the areas that I picked out was great.
Then Scott Doumas calls back. The only question I had was "how long would it take me for me to make my money?" Scott said "only 5 months!" Well after wanting to do a Bankwire, I just told him I would get a check to them. I couldn't believe this in 5 months Scott said I would make back my $9995!!!
Lets take a second to look at this great package!

And yeah the great phone support that doesn't exist!
The Machines finally came I was thinking this is great! $50 per machine each MONTH!
Lets look how much you really pay per each machine $333, $15 shipping, $50 for the location and then $15 in candy That's over $400 put in each machine!
Well it cost $50 per machine located, times 30 = $1500.
Well Vending Dreams (Who Scott Doumas said was a great locating company) located my 30 machines; wait only 28 (*$100 LOST*)
Then when I went to check on the machine I was the owner never said he wanted the machine (*$50 lost*) then two of the locations closed down (*$100*) one of the locations that closed took the machine (*$350*) then this last time 2 locations told to take the machines (*$100*)
And plus I get complaints about the machine robbing people of money. I put the setting on what the book told me to.
In the 2 months of going into business with Vendstar I've lost a total of $700 so far this last MONTH for full 30 days I only made $316
It's not the $1,999 the Scott Doumas said I would make in short instead of getting $30-$50 each time, If I'm lucky to get $3-$6 per machine each month.
And Scott Doumas if you're reading this please feel free to send me a check for the money I've lost!
And for anyone thinking about going into vending, and doesn't believe me try this: Go to eBay buy a vendstar machine They sell for around $60 there, and see if in a month if you get $30-$50.
