It was around 12:15p. M 9/5 when i received a call from U. S Grant Interactive. It was a lady with a thick indian accent by the name of Cristy Grey (wow. That sure sounds like an indian name). She was informing me that U.S. Grant Interactive is working with the Government to give away free money for people who are U. S Citizens. She said that around 70 thousand people nationwide are accepted to receive up to 40 thousand.
I couldnt hear her that much because there was a lot of noise in the background. She then asked me what would i use this money for. Would it be for education, home improvement, or paying bills? I told her that I would probably use the money for education and paying bills. She then told me that i will receive 35thousand for paying bills and education. She guaranteed that this is not a scam, and that they will charge me once in a lifetime 269 dollars for this certain software.
She asked me if I had an account and I said yes. So she was real quick on getting information out of me, but I kept asking her questions. I asked her for her name, her employee number, a number I can reach them at and a website.
She gave me the address where they were located "350 north sand hill mesquite nevada 89027 customer number 800-598-3074 open monday-friday 10am to 6pm" it was kind of convincing but at the same time a little suspicious. As soon as she got my account number, she told me that another representative will talk to me so I can confirm all the information with her. It was another lady with a thick indian accent. Her name was Candy Johnson.
At the end of the process, she gave me a verification number (1194534) and told me not to share this number to any close friends, family, ect. She made it seem like this is a very important number, a very serious situation. She made sure my account number and my bank information was correct. She then told me that the company was going to take out the money on september 12th. She told me they weren't going to take out money before or later than the 12th. She said if it was hard for me to pay off 269, I can give them a call and extend the date.
We hung up and I started taking action when I was thinking a lot about what I just did. I decided to go on the internet and found this website. I couldn't believe it. I went crazy and mad and I called my bank and I told them about it and thankfully they managed to change my account number.
This is awful and it needs to be STOPPED! I wish I can just talk to them one more time and curse them out. That will satisfy me
